Writing is more than putting thought to paper. Through writing you remember, explore and feel. You meet the stories that live inside of you, wanting to speak. In this writing workshop you learn how to cultivate deep listening, a special attention to spontaneous thought and feeling. Shift and expand awareness while writing to discover voice and material. Four writing sessions (writing/reading/feedback) take place, along with plenty of breaks. A relaxed, safe environment promotes intimacy with self and others.

The retreat – open to any woman who wants to learn how to use writing for self-exploration, creative expression and personal growth – begins Friday evening at 7:00 and ends Saturday at 4:30. The cost of $175 includes instruction, double-room accommodations, and breakfast and lunch on Saturday. Although the retreat experience is highly recommended, you may attend as a commuter for $110.
