Simplify. Start with the basics: fresh air, clean spring-fed water, natural food. Add in the sensory delights of fall -- crisp blue skies, starry black nights, the smell of things fully ripened.

Stop. Turn off your cell phone. Set aside your to-do lists. Reconnect with body, soul, earth. Allow spirit through.

Listen to yourself. Write, dream, hike, meditate, walk the medicine wheel, build a fire. Remember your belonging in a place of powerful earth energies and exquisite natural beauty.



Share silence with others throughout the retreat except at the introductory and closing gatherings and optional morning and evening writing sessions. Joan is available for private work throughout the weekend. You may also book a massage in the studio in advance.
